CDM - Pierre-Emile Hojberg (Spurs)
Spurs have been top performers in a very open Premier League table this season. With the help of Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min in attack, the North-London side have ravaged plenty of teams including their rivals Arsenal. However, it is not just their star-studded attack which have gained all the attention.
Having signed from Southampton in the summer, the Dane joined Jose's whites for a fee of £15m on a five-year contract.
He has played every minute in the Premier League so far this season, recording one assist.
He has shown impressive defensive capabilities, helping Spurs concede only 16 goals in 17 league matches. At this stage of the campaign last year, Spurs had conceded 24 goals, a stark comparison in performance thanks to the influence of the central midfielder.

LCM - Jack Grealish (Aston Villa)
The young villa club captain has shone brightly in the league so far this season. From what was a miraculous recovery by Aston Villa to stay in the Premier League towards the end of last season, Grealish has led the charge for Villa in what is a promising start.
In 15 games, he has recorded an impressive 5 goals and 7 assists. He is able to glide between defenders and beat them for skill with ease. His ability to beat defenders one-on-one has made him a target for big centre-backs and central-midfielders, making him the most-fouled player in the League.
He will be a strong contender in the starting line-up at the upcoming European Championships, Southgate will have a tricky selection to face. There is plenty of young talent in attacking roles to decide between.
